How it all started...
Plainview Baptist Church was established in 1894 to minister to the Plainview community just a few miles west of the city of Krum. Plainview Baptist has been a constant light to the area preaching the gospel for 128 years! Here at Plainview we have a rich history but know our brightest days are still to come.
AT PLAINVIEW BAPTIST
We believe Acts 2:40-47 reveals five essentials for the New Testament church. Those are Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Ministry and Fellowship.
Worship- where we experience the presence of God
Evangelism- that reaches out to all that do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Discipleship- that speaks to our needs as we live each day
Ministry- that are effective in meeting personal, corporate and community needs.
Fellowship- that allows each of us to develop lasting, vibrant relationships with one another.
In other words, we are a body of believers that exemplifies the love of Jesus at home, work and our community.

We have something for everyone
In addition to our corporate services, we offer a class for everyone.
Our people are a priority, we have a place for everyone, we offer Nursery and Jr Church on Sundays for the younger kids, the youth meet in the youth building Sunday Mornings at 10:00 and 6:30 on Wednesday Nights. We have a ladies class, parenting class and adult class every Sunday at 10:00am. We would love for you to come and grow with us.
